I believe in the whole Bible, rightly divided and the New Testament as my only rule of faith. I have found myself ministering mostly to women and in small group settings. My passion is music and supporting small group leaders and the people and pastors of Hilltop Community Church.

Your Story

I became a Christ follower at the young age of 8 and began ministering at the age of 13. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 16. I actually felt the call of God on my life when I was 17. God has always had His mighty hand upon my life even when I didn't always make the wisest of choices. I was married at 18 and had two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Sarah. My marriage sadly ended at the age of 27 and with God's help, raised my daughters as a single mom. I have seven grandchildren all of whom I adore. I came to Hilltop in 1996 through an invitation of a friend and never left except for one year that I spent in Colorado. Pastor Jim calls it "temporary insanity". I became a full-time employee of Hilltop in 1997. In 2005 while in Colorado, I called out to God from a desperate heart. "God only you know the number of days I have left on this earth and I want to fulfill whatever plan you have for me. I continued to pray. A few days later, Pastor Jim called and asked me to come back to Hilltop. I did not hesitate and I find it a great privilege and source of strength to serve here once again.

Education

I have been a continual learner and my plans for 2010 are to further my education through Global University, AG's online college. My hope is to become a certified minister.

Movies

I am a romantic at heart. One of my favorite movies is "Last of the Dog Men".

Hobbies

I love to read and sing, sew, decorate and create. I love anything having to do with the arts. I love antiques and history. I love the ocean. It gives me a calm when I look at the vastness of it, I realize that only God could make it all work together. I love nature and beauty and poetry.

Favorite Bible Character

One of my favorite bible characters is Esther. Favorite scriptures "The king is enthralled with your beauty, honor him for he is your lord. Psalms 45:11 and Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, pleans to give you hope and a future."
