I'm glad to be part of the team. I love hanging out with young people and I love God so the natural career path is youth ministry.

 

 

 

Your Story

In 1996, I became a Christian in my bedroom as a Catholic. After being born again, I felt the call into the ministry and got all the paperwork necessary to become a Jesuit Priest. But God had other plans. I started attending a Protestant church, which led me to great mentors who took me on missions trips around the country and into Central America. Although I have done many things for work since then, my passion to work with young people has never died. In 2005 I married my awesome wife Johanna, in 2006 we adopted our sweetheart of a daughter, Glenda who's now 18yrs old, and in 2008 Sariah was born. Life is good ;)

Education

Graduated University High School in Spokane, WA, 1995
Graduated Patten University with a BA in Youth Ministry, 2005
Credentialed minister in 2006
I plan on getting my MA then teaching college classes on the side as a youth ministry practitioner. But I've also learned that planning my life is futile. God holds the plans.

Movies

I'm a big fan of Kung Fu flicks, V for Vendetta, Batman Begins, 50 First Dates, Elf, Nativity Story (at Christmas time), The Notebook (sorry fellas, but it really is a good movie) -to name a few.

Hobbies

Playing and listening to music, making beats and recording music that youth write, reading, hanging out with my girls, parks, airplanes & helicopters, travel, graphic design, painting (graffiti), the occasional video game.

What's on your ipod?

Hilltop Youth, Lecrae, David Crowder, War Tour, Israel Houghton, reggae, house, salsa music, and the occasional Metallica, Pearl Jam.

Favorite Bible Character

Elisha because he was bald. But I don't think he would have made a good youth pastor. lol
